Services we are proud to offer
Veterinary medicine, also called veterinary science, is medical specialty concerned with the prevention, control, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases affecting the health of domestic animals and with the prevention of transmission of animal diseases to people.
EXAM & VACCINATIONS
The best way to keep your pet healthy is with routine wellness visits and preventive care. It is always best to prevent illness if able then to treat once your pet is sick. Exams and Vaccinations are why Dr. Brandt recommends wellness visits every six months and vaccinations every year. A typical wellness visit may include a thorough physical exam, a fecal examination, vaccinations, possible labwork, and preventive medication against heartworms, fleas, and ticks.
RADIOLOGY & X-RAYS
Digital Radiology– a digital x-ray machine that provides a radiographic image viewed immediately on a high-resolution monitor. This machine makes the process of taking radiographs more efficient and, therefore, less stressful to our patients, allowing us to evaluate your pet’s musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems from the most petite kitten to a giant dog.
BLOOD TEST & LAB WORK
A blood test or lab test allows us to learn information about your pet’s health. Collecting a blood sample and having it analyzed allows us to test for: Glucose, Proteins, Electrolytes, Cholesterol, Endocrine Levels, and Digestive Enzymes. Testing may include a complete blood count and blood chemistries that analyze chemical components in the blood.
